On 31 August 2019, Floris presented a paper on "Naturalisation, Citizenship Policy and Mobility in the Migrant Life Course: a Longitudinal Analysis of Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden” at the Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association (APSA). The paper is co-authored by Maarten Vink and Anna Tegunimataka and analyses for whom and under which conditions naturalisation is a catalyst for further transnational mobility and makes use of individual-level longitudinal register data from the Netherlands and Sweden from 1997 to 2016.
