On 29th March, Post-doctoral researcher Swantje Falcke and PhD candidate Marloes de Hoon presented a paper at the 25th International Conference of Europeanists in Illinois, USA. The conference is themed around “Europe and the World: Mobilities, Values and Citizenship” and organized by the Council for European Studies.
Swantje presented her paper on “Citizenship Status Transitions in the Migrant Life Course: A Typology” and Marloes discussed her paper “A Ticket to Mobility? Naturalization and out-Migration of Asylum Migrants in the Netherlands”.
Both Swantje and Marloes presented their paper during the panel on Citizenship and Its Transformative Effects on Migrants on Thursday, 29th March 2018.
